Swami Harihara
Born in a spiritually rich family, Swami Harihara Ji’s journey on the path of Self Exploration, began right from his schooling days at a very young age, with a keen interest in Vedas and Meditation. As a young adult, he was attracted to the Art Of Living Organisation, due to its unique scientific and practical approach towards life and its profound wisdom, blended with simplicity and effectiveness. After completing his formal studies at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and graduating as a Homeopathic Doctor, he decided to dedicate his life for the betterment of people and welfare of the society under the guidance of Pujya Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar ji.
Swamiji has extensively worked in the rural Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra for sustainable spiritual & social upliftment, especially for suicide-prone farmers and rural women and youth. He has been instrumental in spreading wisdom of ancient Indian knowledge systems through the Vaidic Dharma Sansthan all across India while serving in the remotest villages of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh spearheading social projects through the various programs of the Art of living.
As a teacher of Vedic Wisdom program, Swamiji teaches scores of Indians as well as International seekers, who experience the depth of Vedas and Upanishads, made relevant to modern living.
Currently Swamiji serves as a Director for all the Sri Sri Veda Pathashalas under Ved Vignan Maha Vidya Peeth and guides and manages the governance of 13 existing Vedic Gurukuls as per the traditional systems of education blended with Modern subjects like Science, Mathematics, Computers, etc., Along with being a teacher of Sudarshan Kriya and other profound yogic techniques of pranayama and meditation, he is also a certified examiner at Indian Yoga Association (IYA).
