Upākarma is conducted once a year for all those who have undergone upanayanan, ritually change their sacred thread accompanied by relevant rituals, making offerings to the Rishis.

Kindly bring your Panchpatra (Plate, Spoon, Small Glass, Japa Mala) & Asan (seat) if you are doing at Bangalore Ashram.

If you are doing online then following material will be required to do upakarma at Home. Online Link will be shared 1 Day Before Event on your email Id and also on Whatsapp.

3. Sacred Thread (Janew)
4. Asan (seat)
5. Akshat (White rice)
6. Black sesame seed (Tila) - If your parents are not alive
7. Darbha (special type of dry grass, available in all puja stores, near temples)
