Mauni Amavasya TARPAN Online on ZOOM

Mauni Amavasya is a powerful day to connect with your ancestors and offer gratitude through the sacred ritual of TARPANAM.

Who can participate?

Anyone whose parent (either father or mother) is no longer in their physical body can perform this ritual.

Materials Required for TARPANAM at Home:

1. Black Tila (Black sesame seeds)
2. White Rice
3. Panchapatra Set (Plate, Spoon/Udarni, and Small Glass)
4. Asan (Seat)
5. Darbha Grass (Available at puja stores near temples)

  Yes Sankalpa will happen only in Online mode. Pundits will take sankalpa on behalf for all those who cannot attend personally
