Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has been passionately involved in preserving and promoting the glory of Vaidic education. With the vision to maintain the Vaidic tradition in its pristine purity for the generations to come, Gurudev established the first Veda School in Bangalore in the year 1981. Here the Veda students learn both Vedas and Science. Gradually over the years a number of Vaidic Pathshalas have been instituted in different parts of India. Currently there are six Veda Pathshalas founded across India under the supervision of Veda Scholars.
