The Maha Laxmi Homa is performed to invoke the energy signified by Lakshmi. Lakshmi symbolizes the energy of abundance, and all 8 types of wealth namely Adi laxmi, Dhana laxmi, Dhanya laxmi, Gaja laxmi, Santana laxmi, Vira laxmi, Vijaya laxmi, Vidya laxmi. This Homa invokes and enhances these different types of wealth in our daily life and brings abundance.
