Swami Sadyojathah ji
Swami Sadyojathah Ji was born in the Royal Family of Kerala, the Southern most state of India. Meeting Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji during the early nineties made a complete transformation in his whole life. The spark was more than enough to kindle the dormant traits in him to serve humanity and blossom into rarefied realms of spirituality under the careful and affectionate tutelage of Gurudev. In the Art of Living Foundation, he was the First one to be ordained with the title “Swami”. Swamiji is a Senior faculty of the Art of Living Programmes which help in eliminating stress with special focus on restoring human values in society. A Travelling Senior Teacher of Breathing and Yoga, Swamiji since 1993 has conducted several hundreds of workshops in over 50 countries and in many locations all over India. He is the Director of International Affairs of the Art of Living and also the Founder Director of Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, a centre of excellence imparting a degree in Ayurveda- The Indian System of Medicine. He led the core team of Art of Living volunteers in trauma relief and counselling after the devastating Tsunami which hit the shores of India and Sri Lanka in 2004. Through this program hundreds of people could find solace and peace in their shattered lives and minds. He was the Chief Coordinator of the' International Conference on Peace and Reconciliation in South Asia at Oslo. He has also addressed many international conferences including Parliament of World religions which was held in Barcelona (2004) and in Melbourne (2009).
